Kalgoorlie Railways Football Club is located in the regional city of Kalgoorlie–Boulder, Western Australia. Kalgoorlie–Boulder is home to 35 000 people who have strong community spirit and passion for Aussie Rules Football. It is home to the Goldfields Football League, made up of 5 clubs with Junior, Colts under 19), Reserves and League squads.Kalgoorlie Railways Football Club was formed in 1900, evolving from a social football team known as the “Locomotives” Club, hence the name “Railways”.As the club recruited more players, premierships followed in years 1911, 1912, 1919, 1920, 1929, 1931, 1941, 1945, 1950, 1952, 1958, 1960, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1983, 1987, 2000, 2002 and 2006. The year 2000 saw Kalgoorlie Railways Football Club become the first club in Australia to win a premiership in its centenary year.The Club has come a long way over the years and is proud of the success that it is today. We pride ourselves on our great family atmosphere and we welcome new players and supporters to the Panthers family.
